We're passionate about artisanal, organic pastries that are made using traditional methods. We love the process of baking; but our greatest pleasure is seeing you enjoy our creations.

We Are
Bake Maine

Bake Maine is founded by husband and wife team, Kristen and Doug. They have worked together at several different cafe/bakeries and are very excited to finally take the helm. 

Doug has been leading kitchens in Southern Maine and Boston, using local, fresh ingredients as much as possible.

Kristen has been in kitchens her whole life. A graduate from Johnson and Wales University, she has worked savory, but followed her passion into pastry. She was a pastry chef at Flour Bakery and Tatte bakery, both in Boston, and has apprenticed in NYC and France. Her background is european pastry influences, and thrives on creating and playing with flavor.
